Well, then you are safe. Just don't eat any bread or potato chips.
When I was on the way home yesterday I heard a really neat story on a local talk radio program. A new mother had left her newborn baby on her bed to go and prepare a bottle. She had only been gone for a minute when when the family dog, a golden retriever named Bullet, came into the kitchen and was carrying on something awful. She couldn't understand what was wrong with the dog, but he persisted. Finally, she followed Bullet into the bedroom to find the baby gagging and turning blue. She screamed for her husband who was in the shower. He immediately came out and performed CPR on the baby which he happened to recall from high school. They, of course called 911 and the infant was taken to the hospital where the couple was told that another 10 seconds would likely have made the difference between life and death. So Bullet saved the baby's life. The baby turned out to have pneumonia in both lungs and was hospitalized for swhile.
But here's the really neat part of the story and an explanation of why the mother sees this as a real miracle. She already considered the baby to be a miracle. Her and her husband had tried all kinds of fertility treatments in order to have a child and all had failed. Then, at age 43, she spontaneously conceived and had the baby, I forget if it was a boy or girl. Just 2 years earler Bullet had developed a tumor on his liver and the vet had recommended having him put to sleep, but instead, they had taken out a $5000 loan to pay for the surgery to remove the tumor. They now believe that it was meant to be because God knew they would face this situation and Bullet needed to be there.
Pretty cool story huh?
