My Mom grew up there. She and my Dad went to Reed College....Marxist Mecca of the Northwest. They became dedicated liberals shortly thereafter.

My Grandparents had a little place on the Willamette River about 25 or 30 minutes South of Portland near a time called Wilsonville (Wilsyville?). It was rural then...probably all built up now. It was very cool.....
