The idea of flash frozen elephant, has puzzled me since I read about it 40 years ago, have never gotten a straight answer about it.

Drowned forests, still in leaf under 45 feet of water, is another thing I don't understand. Trees and seawater don't mix, from my observation.

I know, it reminds me of those man made lakes where they have bass tournaments, and there's "structure," submerged trees, even buildings, etc.

Is there a frozen mammoth somewhere? That never defrosted once it became frozen?
