I am glad the guy in the park hugged and kissed Lulu...bassets are meant to be hugged and kissed...and bassets are very well built, and I agree, they are meant to be chubby...I have never seen a thin, svelt basset...

Helga was a big boned basset, a big girlie, and she was quite weighty(all those fancy bakery cookies from her daddy helped along)....

The British do seem to like their steak and kidney pie...I think its quite a staple food fare over there in the British Isles...but I am sure anything meaty will be found to be quite tasty, by most dogs...
