I think salad spinner is good idea
if I were still makin' salads I'd buy one
I teased habs cause I never heard of coming back from grocery store
and first thing washing and spin dry lettuce
in days when I made salads (and did things the ''right'' way)
I'd cut off pieces of lettuce I was usin', wash them and pat them dry
(I thought salad spinner was for instead of pattin' them dry)

I force myself to put stuff away when I get back from market
and stuff empty bags in cabinet
if I also washed and spun dry lettuce I'd go nuts :)
but habs is into it :)
I hope andysmom doesn't pick up bad habits from habs
I've been tryin' to set good example for her

Just so you know, and another mystery solved, the morons that run the produce dept where I shop soak the veggies every 10 mins whether they need the soaking or not, so if I don't rinse and clean the salad mix when I come home, then in a few days it begins to ferment and turn into alcohol.Then it gets very slimey, like AC when he's out pimping ;-)This way it stays fresh and edible :-)

ps, ask Hair, but I don't think booze is allowed in a hobbitt hole...
