hi andysmom
we used to have summer house in adirondacks
it was fairly primitive
instead of stove my mom used hot plate
and for stove she had black tin thing she set on hot plate
she used to cook roast chicken in it and also apple pie for dad (we had apples out back)
it had ice box (ernie delivered the ice with horse and cart)
and for washing machine she had that thing your mom had
where she had to put clothes thru a mangle

I has a calico cat too, she lived for 10 yrs then got run over one day.Her name was Chessie :-)
