Hi ringy. I was thinking it could be the work of someone who wants to hurt one person, and is using the random mailbox bombings to hide that fact. Like in Washington state about 10 years ago a man wanted to kill his wife, so he put something in the Tylenol to kill her, and then did it to several other Tylenol bottles in the stores to make it look random.

Yeah, I remember that. Sure did. Could be. When I read that letter the nutcase wrote, sounded LEFT wing to me. Just made me furious the jerks on tv were already claiming it to be a RIGHT wing nutcase.

This mailbox bomb bit must be a large orginization for so many to be planted so far apart. I am originally from Clinton Iowa which is near Davenport where some of the first mailbox bombs were planted. I am still wondering what the point is.. govt is too big...but what outfit is behind this? I wonder if it is John Birch members. They are pretty conservative but do they get involved in destructive activity? Or could this be some militia type groups ?
