that is a good flick...there are far too few really good movies on tv now. Hallmark always has had quality movies.

I think it was funny to call the posturing Palestinian-sympathizing Euros on their rhetoric. Okay, you love 'em so much, why not take a dozen of them?? HAHAHAHA ... Yes I noticed that one ..

By the way .. I'm still waiting for them to come out of the church .. ANY MINUTE NOW ..

Thanks, CG...

Sorry to hear about your Buffie....dang it all, I sure wish our kitty friends wouldn't fight! My Tux is the contrariest thing....the little s**t, at the ranch actually chased a fox!

Abcesses are no fun to deal with....nor are wounds that get fly struck! Yuck! I had to have the tail of the aunt of these cats docked because Tux tried to take it off--she was an outdoor cat at the time, so I wasn't able to catch what happened to her until she came back in 2 - 3 days to be fed!!

When our little friends, whether feline or canine, have so many problems working against them, I think it is the best thing to let them go....good and faithful friends deserve a dignified death. Last year, I had to have my 17 year old cats' Mother euthanized--her kidneys were going fast--and the options would have ensured a little bit longer, though obviously more miserable life for her--it wasn't right for Miss Kitty....and her kids did know someone was missing.

Yummie sounds like a little character, too.... how old is he? My Tux, who will be 17 on the 25th of this month, loves to terrorize his sister at least once daily!!

Not you too, Darlin'? I was merely pointing out the warmth of the day that allowed this weak old man to enjoy a few precious moments of sunshine in the twilight of his years. And cg, you need an eye exam. Lats? Ha!

Hey Val and Darlin! Had to drop out for awhile.. to hard to keep up with the posts and take care of personal biz.

What about that "Puny Bomber"? Some left wing wisconsin, Kurt Cobain worshiping, rock star wannabe... that just wants to be heard...

I'm not really sure how old Yummie is. My little Mocha ( she was a sweet three legged kitty I had for 17 years and she was at least 25 when she died...) died in Nov of 96 and two weeks later this kitty is in the yard. But when I first went out, I thought someone left the door open and little Missie got out. Missie is a blue point tonkinese. Well, I began to panic at the idea of my little indoor kitty outside...so I said to myself, I if I calm down, Missie will come to the door and just come in. So I went in the house only to find Missie in her chair...So if Missie is in here, who is out there??? For a year I looked after the cat while I tried to find out his owner. Yummie is a huge bluepoint siamese. After a year, I took him for shots and decided 100.00 bucks later he is mine. How did he get his name? The first time I fed him he was so hungry that when he put is face in the bowl he just sort of said yumyumyum..So he named himself. You may recall last fall YumYum gave me a scare with liver problems. Nearly lost him But he is doing fine. eats his sicence diet l/d food and tips the scale at 14 lbs. He does have personality. He thinks he is really one of the big cats. Like lions and the like, if he is not finished with his bowl of food, he covers it up with a napkin or whatever he can so he can hide it from Missie..not that she wouldever touch something he flapped a lip over! LOL

Catpuppy... you are not an old man... and so what if you have a few years on Ratty..just remember, the best tunes are played on older fiddles ( that is what my hubby says and he is 17 years my senior so he must be right!) And what has age got to do with your Tarzan yell that is going to scare Crusher out of your berry patch?

My sixth-grader can write a much more sensible letter than that whacked-out pipebonger pipebomber dude. His lawyer has evidence for an insanity plea. If any of his college professors has ever given him a decent grade, he or she should be reviewed immediately.
