We just got abck from the movie, and it was better than the Superman movies (which got really lame). I think I liked the movie better than the kids did. They are not readers, and readers appreciate a good story better.
Peter Parker, Photographer... my grandmother's maiden name was Parker. I'm probably Spidey's cousin.

Since I was bitten the other day, by one of those genetically enhanced RattBots that they have used to navigate those mazes by remote control, my neurotransmitters have been transmitting at a speed faster than the speed of light. This causes me to have a form of prescience, a 'Ratty Sense,' if you will.

My Ratty Sense was tingling, and had already told me that you would LOVE this flick. It is character driven, with plenty enough action to keep you from getting drowsy.

I KNEW Tobey Maguire would make a good Spiderman, and now, I can't imagine anybody else who could have played Spiderman as well as Maguire did.

It was wholesome too. EXCEPTIONALLY well done, and VERY true to the comic book, right down to Jonah Jameson at the newspaper always trying to make Spidey out to be the Bad Guy. Having Willem Dafoe playing the Green Goblin didn't hurt either.

And NO hidden political agenda, except an underlying message of most everything that is GOOD in America.
