I went to the health food store to pick up a couple of things today and there were some people set up out front and a woman asked me if I wanted to sign a petition to change the animal cruelty laws in Arkansas. I very abruptly said, "NO." Then I thought about it and thought I really jumped to some conclusions without any knowledge whatsoever of what specifically they were addressing. I just assumed these were PETA nuts that wanted to lobby against barbeque or some such thing.
