Spiderman, Spiderman
does whatever a spider can
spins a web, any size
catches thieves just like flies
look out here comes the Spiderman
I have a feeling that this movie will be VERY big. I may even go and see it. (Plus Tobey maguire was REALLY good in Ride With The Devil.)

I might have to take the kids to a matinee showing of spidey on the weekend. Will it be playing this weekend around the country - or next?

When I was a kid I always wanted to watch Spiderman on Saturday mornings, and my sisters wanted to watch that sissy Casper the Friendly Ghost -- yuk. We had a Big Fight every Saturday morning over that.

I always liked Spiderman. Something about a super hero with a sarcastic sense of humor strikes an harmonious chord with me.

If you MESS with one of US...you MESS with ALL of US!
Comic-book freaks will bitch about liberties taken. You'll hear that some of the CGI isn't so hot (it isn't) and that the Goblin's mask looks like party plastic (it does). Know what? It doesn't matter. Raimi mixes his flair for the sensational (The Evil Dead) and the subtle (A Simple Plan) into one knockout package.
I didn't realize that Raimi directed this one. That makes it a MUST see, fer sure.
Evil Dead is a CLASSIC, and is as funny a movie as most of the Monty Pythons.

Mornin' y'all! How is everybody today. Ratty, did you send that nasty weather to us? I woke up to a thunderstorm this morning. Actually, I could have easily slept in awhile longer, but I had a couple of early calls to make. Last night was fun. Even with Ratty IN his clothes.

Yep... Hamilton is an hour away from Waco - I've been there a couple of times.

We had some cool, misty rain this morning, and it was almost dark when I took the kids to school and went to the grocery store. No thunderstorm, though we have a Tstorm watch for another hour.

W is giving the Senate hell over their lack of responsiveness to his nominations for the federal judiciary. He has that look on his face. This could get interesting.

I am glad. Thanks catpuppy. I was watching MASH. Just switched it over. He ought to chew them up and spit them out. It sounds as if they have sworn not to support any judicial appointee or nomination of a pro-life Constitutional judge. They need to be exposed for the hypocrites they are.

Morning, sl. Can't stop to talk but just wanted to say that the entire tone of the President's words was one of "This is your final warning!" I think he is going to start playing rough with Tommy the Arrogant.
To: catpuppy
" I think he is going to start playing rough with Tommy the Arrogant" Hehehe...I love the mental image that conjures up!

"Hmmmm. Mossad interrogation techniques must be a wee bit more effective than our techniques. "
It makes me shake just thinking about it.

If I'm not mistaken, I think they've approved two of his nominees.... 2 democrats. You're right catpuppy, when he gets that look they best pay attention.

"2 democrats" Doesn't that just figure? Those people make me sick!
To: Darlin'
I guess he means they don't move them to a tropical vacation spot and feed them toasted bagles, like we do...
To: null and void
Guess not. We have a lot to learn from our allies.

They don't even try to be subtle. Just blatant, in-your-face partisan politics. Blue Dress Partisan Politics
