You're just awful!!! You mentioned my high school, even. How could you?? *LOL*
Across from the Pike Street Market is a French bakery.. yummmmm... it smells so good I can never walk past it without stopping in. And down the street a few doors from that is a Greek gyro shop for lunch. I stopped there once, and it was great. I love riding the ferries - my sister's in-laws used to have a place on Orcas Island that we stayed at a couple of times. I'm glad you said it's cold and rainy there this weekend.

So sorry, but I am sure you have great things where you are now living...when you move, you miss some things, but find other things to make up for it...

I know that Greek Gyro shop...we always must stop there, as their food is out of this world...Thats what is so grand about Pike Market...you can stop at all the little stands and grab something wonderful to munch on while you are shopping...We always stop at Turkish Delight, for their wonderful Turkish meat, chicken and veggie pies, then onto the Chinese guy for some egg rolls, and pork on a stick, then onto the Greek guy for some Gyros...you can eat your way right down the street, and never have to sit down to do it....great fun...

I love the Italian store up front in Pike Market...being that the hubby is a Sicilian, we always run up a large tab there, buying lots of italian sausages, cheeses, and wines...and then must stop and have a slice of hot pizza...

Yikes, all this food talk, and now I am getting hungry....

The dogwoods are beginning to bloom, some of the rhodies are also beginning to bloom...and of course, that rotten nasty ugly Scotch Broom, is coming into bloom, all over the place...
