Former First Lady Takes Breast Blooper In Stride

WICHITA, Kan. -- Former first lady Barbara Bush had something to get off her chest. So she wrote to a Kansas paper that misquoted her as saying she'd had three different breast sizes during her life.

It turns out she had actually said "dress size," and not "breast size."

The Wichita Eagle ran a correction earlier this month, but just got a letter from Bush.

The Eagle printed the letter, in which the former first lady noted that she had "become abreast of" the article.

She admits she's a "bosom buddy" of two presidents -- and said the article gave her children "much to laugh about."

I love women who are comfortable in their own skin.

She added a hand-written note at the bottom that she "was glad to get this off my chest!" LOL

Barbara Bush certainly demonstrates grace, good humor and class. She must be a lot of fun to be around. What a contrast to the First Lady who followed!
