You've got the Control Alt delete blues, I'll bet.
I'm no computer whiz, but did you try shutting down all non-essential programs?

Thanks for the good puter thoughts, they are appreciated. I've said it before, but I'll NEVER purchase a computer that I cannot drive it back to the factory and get help as it is needed. All this shipping across the country cannot be a good thing for a very delicate piece of equipment.
Burn computer candles for my making it through the weekend. ;-)

Clinton claims in the article you posted that he's had dogs all his life. I've read quite a few of the books detailing both his early childhood and the years preceding his political doings, and not once have I read of any dog(s) he owned. Another lie?
To: Carolinamom
I think he was speaking of his dates.

Here is an absolutely disgusting story about Clinton and his new dog.

What to do, what to do? When you're a limelight hog like Billy and images like these are shown.
Hmmmm.

#44 LOL! Good one.

Well he did have at least one dog before Buddy. Remember when Buddy got run over, the story came out that a similar thing had happened to another dog owned by Slick-he ran off and got run over by a car.
What gets me is that he was in Washington just last week and he could not take the time to run and check out his new puppy that he can't wait to get?
To: daisyscarlett
If he's golfing in Texas this weekend, I guess "getting to know" his little bundle of joy just will have to wait. Thank goodness the hired help is there.

There will also be a small, private meeting with local investors who will contribute to the William Jefferson Clinton Library, Contributions my A$$. It's probably more like extrotion IMHO. This guy is planning on going back to the White House via Hillary. He is getting ready to do to these people what he did to the indians. Get them to give him all kinds of money in exchange for something. Old habit never die, I guess.
Did you hear? he's getting another dog? One just like poor Buddy. Apparently, this puppy comes from the same breeder and family as buddy. Clinton says he really loved Buddy. My A$$! He never even spent time with the poor doggie.

I think Slick is actually in the Houston area today which is where the Bushes will attend a wedding tonight....You know Slick has a habit of crashing weddings, wouldn't it be a hoot if he tried to crash this one and the SS had to chase him away....hee hee...

NY Daily News: No jokes about a Boies Club, please. Powerhouse lawyer David Boies and his law firm, Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, reached a settlement yesterday with two women who'd sued the firm on a charge of sex discrimination. Bonnie Porter and Rachel Baird claimed in Federal District Court that female lawyers in Boies' Westchester office were paid less than men and have had virtually no chance of becoming partners in the firm. Boies, whose clients have included Al Gore, and his partners will pay Porter and Baird $37,000 each, plus $50,000 in legal fees to settle the case. "We understand from sources at the firm that the women who remained behind have since been put on the partnership track and have been given substantial raises," said Porter. "We believe this was largely due to our efforts." Democrats misogynists? Whoodathunkit?

Did anyone doubt Arlen "Scottish Law" Specter was a RINO? Now we see he's an amigo de Fidel.
NY PostA TRIP to Cuba proved costly for Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.). The well-regarded lawmaker was photographed in Havana presenting a fireman's hat to Fidel Castro, who gave Specter a box of Cuban cigars. The senator - who had to give up the contraband stogies to U.S. Customs - kept the empty box as a souvenir. And the empty box became symbolic when Donald Trump and Roger Stone later hosted a fund-raiser for Specter at Trump's Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. Among those invited were many prominent Floridians of Cuban descent, who no-showed because of the Castro connection.

Let's write BMW Well I did lodwick! Here's my letter....
Dear BMW,
So BMW New Zealand owes Clinton a favor too? Gads people! What in the heck are you thinking? If I were selling something I surely wouldn't ask the Premier Liar to hock it for me. If Bill Clinton ever showed up on a commercial to sell anything, I'd know immediately that's not a product I can trust.
I've always wanted a BMW and had thought of trading in my car for a new one this year.... Not anymore, I'll keep my 20 yr. old Mercedes for another 10 years before I hand over any money to a company that employs Clinton in any capacity!
P.S. Does your company have a problem with married women? There's only two spaces to indicate title of courtesy, no space for MRS.
Now that I think about it, how appropriate. A company who would employ Clinton certainly can't have respect for married women.
Sincerely,
MRS. BWB
Oh well, no BMW for me this year. Just as well, I love my Mercedes! Take that BMW!!! LOL
To: BigWaveBetty
That is a great letter, you also brought up one of my biggest pet peeves. That is the title of MS. I just hate it.
When I get a form with the choice of Mr. Dr. Ms. or Mrs. I always choose Dr. Becuase I am NOT A MS!!!! Ms. is Bella Abzug and those nasty liberal women who wouldn't know a razor or Estee Lauder if they fell over it.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
Thank you Ma'am! That Ms. thing miffs me too! And I'm sure that crowd at BMW doesn't open doors for ladies and probably show up late for everything.
To: BigWaveBetty
What an outstanding effort - excellent nailing of the bent beemers - thank you! ;-)

It was pointed out on another thread (
here) that this isn't the first time BMW has paid x42 a ton of money to be featured at one of their events. It happened in Canada last year, too.
To: mountaineer
Nice link - really enjoyable to see all those folks jamming bjc. ;-) Thanks.

An interesting way to wear pearls....
A model wears a 15 million yen (about $117,000) bra and shorts, crafted with 3,000 pearls and antique Belgian lace, in Tokyo April 27, 2002. Woman's lingerie manufacturer Triumph International Japan said the 'Pearl Bra' uses the highest quality pearls in four sizes, ranging from 1.9 mm to 4mm in diameter. REUTERS/Yuriko Nakao
