Psalm 103
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Thank God for mercy, I certainly do not deserve it, I could never earn it, nor could it be bought. He created this universe from nothingness, and gave us free-will, our lives are filled with choices, and thankfully, I made the only one that really matters. I pray that He will use each of you for His honor, and His glory, and that you would be blessed. I pray for our country and her leaders, and for Israel, and her people. I pray for all those in need, that they would look to the Lord for their answers. Amen.

James 5
14   Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15   And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16   Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Heb. 10:35-38

35. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will, and will not tarry.
38. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

I always liked that Scripture. My Sunday School class just finished a complete study of Hebrews.

Hebrews is awesome!! As is Romans. Verses 32 and 33 were profound for me in surviving my afflictions as I was enduring great afflictions, and frankly was a gazingstock (still am). The rest of the chapter gives me hope and faith.

James is powerful, as Silverwoman and I have prayed the payer of faith and God has healed folks immediately.

The rest of the chapter gives me hope and faith.

Me too, but Chapter 11 is a real "Faith" Chapter.

lol on Chapt. 11 being the "Faith" chapter--Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Whew!

Just because I haven't seen either of you, doesn't mean you don't exist ;o)

You can have faith that I am quite real. There are even a few FReepers who met me at the Ball last year. LOL

I'm requesting prayer for the marriage of some friends. Things already were shaky, and divorce seemed likely when the wife was diagnosed with cancer a couple years ago. Her husband realized that he didn't want to lose her, and became more attentive and devoted to her and their young daughter, and things seemed to be improving. Now that she's "cured" (received a clean bill of health) she's decided to start running around on him. (Another friend recently saw her fooling around with another man). For their sake and that of their little girl, please pray for healing of this relationship.

I pray as you ask. Adultery is a terrible thing, as is the breakup of a family. I pray for the family, and all concerned.

LOL - Au contraire mes ami! I would be delighted to meet each and every one you one day, if for nothing else to say thank you for your prayers, and your friendship.
