Is it the Episcopalian's that don't put a lot of credence in the Blessed Mother .. I thought it was the Protestants

It varies from church to church. What I have been specifically taught is that she is to be honored but not worshipped, held in high esteem as an example but NOT an object of devotion. I have seen people in the church though that lean more to the "catholic" side of the veneration of Mary and the saints as well as having seen many that couldn't name a saint.

The general Protestant belief is that Mary was a virgin who conceived and bore the Son of God, and she was also a wife to Joseph afterward and bore children unto him, brothers of Jesus. Marriage to Mary was a blessing to Joseph, not a punishment.

I think all protestant church doctrines believe in the imaculate conception of Christ, but that none of them accept the imaculate conception of Mary, or the virginity of her mother.

There are people in all seminaries who teach radical liberal stuff contrary to doctrine.
