Saudi to Warn Bush of Rupture Over Israel Policy

In a bleak assessment, he said there was talk within the Saudi royal family and in Arab capitals of using the "oil weapon" against the United States, and demanding that the United States leave strategic military bases in the region.

When informed of this, sources within the Bush administration said that they would recommend to Abdullah, that he save time and inconvenience later, by applying for his special ID to be issued soon to all residents in the U.S. protectorate of Arabia, formerly known as Saudi Arabia. By doing so, he could avoid the indignity of having to wait in line at a later date, with the rest of his subjects.
