I don't think there is any significant racism left in any of the Texas Churches. Waco is not a town with a large influx of new people, and when you live in the same town your family has always been in, you tend to go to the same church your grandparents went to. Forty years ago the Churches were segregated, and today, most people are still going to grannie's church, so they are still de facto segregated and I doubt it will end.
I think I find being uncomfortable in a place that is not multi racial is as perverse as being uncomfortable in one that is integrated
