We do things the smart way, and take cabs all over the place, while leaving the car safely at the motel...dont want to get pulled over on a DUI...this way, we get to drink as much as we want, without having to worry about getting arrested...
We had great steaks, wonderful salmon, prawns, clams, shrimp, fish, huge whole Dungeness Crabs, lots of salads, and clam chowders...gads I am about to bust....
The hubby is now all relaxed...a three day weekend in Seattle, enjoying the local foods, and brews, and having time with our son, makes him a happy man, ready to return to work....
And then there is Dizzy.....when we opened the front door, there he was peeking around the corner at us, and just raising a fuss...meowing loudly, and demanding immediate attention..oh, the way he carried on, you would have thought we were gone for a year....he has already had three long sessions, of nothing but being brushed, being held, being kissed, being rocked like a baby, and being fed his special chicken treats that he loves...
Anyway, now that Dizzy has monopolized my time for the last two hours or so, he is finally settled down into our bed, is all curled up, and sound asleep...boy he was sure pissed that we were gone...but now all is forgiven, and he is my sweet boy again ....
So tomorrow is the Palos big day at the courthouse...lets see if you get onto a jury....
How has Lulu been since I have been gone?...What is that lovely girl up to? I took some time to read all the posts I have missed...you guys are having a grand time, arent you?
I know I am going to be crashing pretty soon....I drank so much beer and wine this weekend, more than I normally drink, and I have not yet recovered....and we have been partying, so sleep has not been big on our agenda the last few days...I need a day just to recover...the poor hubby took a nap when we got home, as he had to go to work this afternoon..but he said he was ok...anway, so he says, in a month, he will be off for two weeks, and will be having his trip to Chicago...so he has things to look forward to...
We had such a wonderful time up in Seattle, but as usual, its always good to be home....
