Whew! Hi Guild - I've done four days worth of reading, and am finally current.
Great links from everyone, and it's great to be back home. ;-)

Hey you, welcome back!! Anxiously awaiting the report of your adventures in Charleston.....

Citadel Beach House
A wonderful weekend was enjoyed by everyone. In no particular order: the seagrass baskets, which are EVERYWHERE - if this is a "dying art," I'm the Pope.
Elliot's Restaurant in the Westin Francis Marion
SC Aquarium - post wedding reception, dance, feast.
Grace Episcopal Church - beautiful service!
Link to site of post rehearsal party/feast for 300+ folks.
Some magazine will be doing a story about how to do a "long-distance" wedding, featuring our friends' big adventure for their daughter and new sil.

Wow!!A pretty high brow wedding but what a time you must have had. Be sure and let us know when the mag. article comes out.
BTW, the link does not work. You need to tune it up, I guess.
A long weekend in Charleston would certainly make me happy....So how many baskets did you purchase?

This makes me very happy-a President who is comfortable with an ax. Lol....What a guy he is-and such a welcome after you know who.

I get great joy from visiting with the grand kids. I enjoy cooking for them and watching them eat, LOL. I enjoy watching hubby play with the kids.

I am happy when...
I put on a pair of pants or a jacket and find money in the pocket...
I go to buy something and it rings up lower then it is marked...
my kitties get along...
my husband does the laundry...
customers call with all the correct information...
people exhibit good manners to each other...
a new recipe turns out great the first time I make it...
my family is happy...
I am on vaction.

Hey, way to go! I'm glad you made it. And I'm glad you didn't have too much trouble from the lefties and terrorists. I read the thread about the Patriot Rally and it sounded like things got a bit intense at times, due to rowdies trying to cause trouble.

I'm happy when Mountaineer and Codebreaker keep us up to date on the gossip. Where are those two today?

Just a few:
A free Friday night spent having a Sashimi feast with my husband.
A day alone catching up on house and garden odds and ends (yes, it makes me happy!)
Seeing a new bird species in the backyard.
PEACE AND QUIET.

Sassy, I kicked myself twice yesterday for not getting a copy of Barbara Olson's book in the mail to you yet. I've been frantic w/other stuff but that should be finished next week. So please don't lose faith in me. You WILL get it! (By the way, I finshed it Saturday night - I had put it down for a couple of months because it made me so mad -- at the Clintons.)
If anyone else needs a copy, I have another extra one and if you can put up with my tardiness in getting it to you, it's yours free of charge.

Afternoon, and thanks for an idea you supplied just now. I'm going to get some educational type reading material together, such as BKO stuff, to send to HLL for our troop. Thanks again, and have a great evening everyone.

Did you see Britt Hume today? He reported that the Clintons were in Texas over the weekend and attended a wedding near Austin and they stopped at some shop and bought 4 of those pink flamingo things that people put in their yards. Did the local press cover this?
Mountaineer, codebreaker anything in the 'loids about this?
To: lodwick
Dear Lord, you don't suppose they bought those ghastly flamingos as a wedding gift do you?
