Catholic laity that dares to condemn the molestation of their children by priests are cultish for their opinion if they back it up with Scripture and doctrine, making it a theological statement? You backed yourself into a corner swerve.

Catholic Laity that condemn the molestation of their children by priests by inventing new and unaproved interpretations of scripture and doctrine to back it up would be heretical. Since recieved doctrine already condemns child molestation, they have no need to do that. Laity who use the abuse scandal as an oportunity to attack Church Doctrine on chastity are heretical. What is this corner of which you speak?
