Well, seems the police think they have their man. Special circumstances means a death penalty. I wonder if Blake will plead guilty if the evidence is cold and hard?

The Outer Space and Moon Treaties and the Coming Moon Rush

I have often wondered what would happen if about 4,000 or 5,000 Pilgrims with lots of money decided that our current situation was waaaay to similar to conditions in Britain back in the colonial days, and decided to start a colony elsewhere. Probably, they would want to leave for religious or cultural reasons. Maybe staunch believers in Individualism seeking to escape the Collectivism that strangles our Liberty here now, or something like that.

I wondered where they could go if they so chose to... Maybe some of the uninhabited desert islands in the south pacific?? Maybe using new technologies to start a seafaring nation, like a floating colony?? (I have seen this discussed in Popular Science, so don't laugh too hard) Or, an orbiting space colony, or one on Mars, when the technology permits...

Do you think that 'society' here would LET Pilgrims do that this time??

What if a group of people, almost all of them white Christians, wanted to base a society on Individualism, and announced plans to do that?? Would that 'idea' be so dangerous to the Socialists, that they would try to stop them??

I have not been made to feel the institutionalized 'white guilt' that the Socialists want me to feel, and I am convinced that if all the Conservative White People suddenly left this nation, that it would have tough times ahead. And if a few Pilgrims opened the floodgates...

It wouldn't be the first time that people had taken a hard look around, and said: "We could do better than this, elsewhere."

What do y'all think.
