Even though an SOS was sent about engine trouble, it still doesn't make sense that on a clear day the one tall building in town was hit. The pilot wasn't trying very hard to save his life... but he did want to bring attention to his plane before he hit the building. It was a performance.

Hi Mo!! Wanna hear something sick?? I'll tell you anyway. LOL A local radio station here offered anyone who could eat a big (and it was big) bowl of worms with purple catsup - $5,000.00. Some guy did it too!! I couldn't do that even for $10,000.00 - I would barf for sure. As far as a plane accidentally flying into a building - I find that kinda farcical too. I'm sure there will be more to that story. Lynn
