I heard on Fox News this morning that a phone call to the man Israel arrested last night (Arafat's right-hand man who was in charge of suicide bomber brigade) was overheard by Israeli intelligence, and that call from Arafat to him was instructions to step up the attacks against Israel when he hears Arafat's spokesman condemn the attacks.
Arafat's condemnation of suicide bombers that led to the meeting with Powell was a trigger to launch new attacks.

That doesn't surprise me, not one little bit. They're loathesome, scheming and duplicitous by nature, completely untrustworthy. Fortunately, Israel knows her enemies and how to deal with them effectively. I'm proud of the way Israel has conducted this war. They're method of neogotiating will achieve a peace that diplomatic sit downs could never accomplish.
