I moved to the East side of Lake Washington in 1957 from Dallas. I was a Child and it was Halcyon Days for real! We rode horses and had deer and Bears and all sorts of woods and swamps.
I was in Alaska for the '70's & '80's and came back to find Berkley/Havana and if they don't fix the ports and Freeway system we will have the economy of Havana.
2 weeks ago about 88% of rank and file cops said they had no confidence in the police chief whom is named GIRLY_something and he is the touchy-feeliest cop not to mention Chief and he has gotten several good people killed and after they provided a bus to take the law breakers back to their church last night the preacher (A Real piece of race/bait/hate named Braxton) Said as much as they would be back tomorrow ( As they Beta tested it yesterday).
Why couldn't that bus have been brought to the freeway for an orderly arrest? many commuters didn't like being held hostage. But I'm sure the local news had nothing but praise. This town is enough to give a person cavities!

I left Washington for Texas a couple of years ago, and dang it all - there are liberals here, too! They seem to get themselves elected to city governments at an alarming rate. Sensible people don't want to bother with such a menial career.
