It seems to be that time again...

Well, dear folks, I will gone for a few days....tomorrow the hubby and I must go to the doctor for our over 50s physical...Yuck...getting poked and prodded all over the place...our appointments are not until 3pm, but beginning at midnight, its nothing to eat or drink until we get to the docs, so they can draw blood for cholesterol testing and blood sugar testing and all that yuck...then of course both me and the hubby need to get our parts prodded, me for a pap test, and the hubby for a prostate test...not a pretty picture, two old folks showing their parts...

Then after the docs appt., the hubby has promised he will take me out to dinner...and we both intend to have a giant steak...because for the past 7 days we have been forbidden the eating of any red meats, because we have been doing our home colo-rectal tests(I will not nauseate you with the details) and those tests must be done over a period of several days, and you cannot eat any red meat for days before or during the testing phase...

Now we normally dont eat a lot of red meat anyway, but somehow once you are forbidden red meat, thats all you want...so I am dying here, needing a bloody rare steak...

Then the hubby is taking off work on Friday, as it is his birthday, and we are heading up to Seattle, to spent the weekend there, and will be eating out at good restaurants, scouring the pubs and bars, seeing the sights, and visiting with the son...

We will not be returning until Monday afternoon, in time for the hubby to get ready for work on Monday night...so it will be a fun weekend, one we are looking forward to...

Of course, the bad part is that we are living our big old kitty Dizzy for those three days...as long as he has his food, his water, his liter box, and his blankets, toys, and such , he will be fine, altho he will be lonesome...he is such a baby, and needs so much love and attention, that I always worry about him when we are gone for any length of time...but I guess he will survive...

And of course the other bad thing is that I will be out of contact with all you crazy folk and will have to spend much time catching up when I return...

So until then good friends, keep each other company, keep watching our eagles, and I will be back either Monday night, or sometime on Tuesday...

Palo, give that big squeezeable Lulu a kiss for me, and give Bill and Happy a kiss as well...I know they all like the Palo kisses, given for whatever reason...
