I'm heading down to Phoenix on Tuesday; my daughter said this evening that yesterday was 99....and it should only be like 80 at this time.....

Hi, Just got back from scooting around the news st ories and saw your post..yes it is a bit warm. Worse, we did not get the rainfall we need and so our hills which usually stay green until June are already turning brown. Inland here, it was in the 90's. When there is a breeze, it is really nice. Most folks in these parts do not have airconditioning in the homes as along the coast we don't need it as a rule. But a couple of nights ago, we got out the little fan.

Did you watch the Masters golf tournament today? Tiger won his 3rd Green jacket. He is so gracious when he wins and when he loses. Today the other leaders just clutched up and made mistakes and Tiger went on crusie control to win. And he is only 26. I wish I had his power of focus!

No, but Christy Matthews uses the same voice inflection when he says it, that I use when saying 'scumbag,' or 'Swervie.'

And I see others here on this site throwing it around as an insult. But I have never seen it defined.

The bears are soooooooo cute.....there's a fellow FReeper I worked with for a few months here at FR during the Kosovo fiasco about oil and pipelines.....when he wasn't working we spent hours digging and digging and digging all over the internet for info. He was a geology major in college, though hasn't used that degree since graduation. Anyhow, it was a fun project even though there were times one could hardly keep their eyes open or their head from falling on the keyboard.

Somewhere he found a photo of two polar bears hugging and sent that to me as a 'signature photo' and signed off 'cyber hugs'.....really cute...a nice young gentleman.

I just sent him a short note with a link to this telling him it looks like he's just too tired for even a cyber hug [he's been putting in zillions of hours at the resort where he works]!

Morning Rowdee - I found those guys while looking for Bald Eagle cams. Alaska has some awesome wildlife, and most of them seem to have their own webcams. lol
