And this article has it wrong. Led Zeppelin didn't invent the heavy metal genre.

Exactly, Led Zeppelin was more "heavy" blues than metal early on. Whereas Black Sabbath was something totally different altogether at the time. The Wizard remains one of my all-time favorite songs.

Yep, as soon as you hear the first chord from the first song from the first Sabbath album (which I believe came out in 1971), you know that is something that was entirely different than anything that preceded it.

I'd have to say that my favorite Black Sabbath album is probably a tie between Master of Reality and Heaven and Hell (with Dio on vox).
