At the fair, all the kids scrambled to the cotton candy and hot dog vendors, except for young Ozzy, who had other ideas..........

I still cannot fathom that MTV has been on for 24 years...does anyone other than me remember when they used to show music videos, and if so, what the first one was?

Video Killed the Radio Star was the very first video to ever be shown. With the exception of the Osbourne's, I don't watch MTV. MTVX and M2 actually show videos, but you need digital cable or satellite to get them.

MTV2 is great (most of the time).
At least they still play videos.

Yup, and MTVX plays rock videos. I was happy to hear that MTV2 still does 120 minutes. I used to love that show, along with Headbanger's Ball. There is a rumor floating around that MTVX may revive the Ball also.

...wife planned to liven up his next concert by filling the stage with bubbles, Ozzy Osbourne, 53, snapped to attention.

How disturbing to think that Ozzy is only one year younger than my mother!

I'll be watching, even though I think you are all (bleeping) insane.

(said in best Ozzy voice)

I was happy to hear that MTV2 still does 120 minutes.

That's exactly why I like M2. (Still reminds me of college days - remember that smarmy Dave Kendall?)

Headbanger's Ball was also cool. Recently they did a retrospective & showed a bunch of interviews by Riki Rachtman (sp?)

I was never into the Poison, Winger & other (ahem) girly "metal" they used to sometimes play though.
It was so funny when they showed him introducing a video by Poison (or similar band)

He had his chin resting on his hand, middle finger pointing skyward.

Breakfast with 'The Osbournes'...........

I intentionally omitted the pic of the defacating bull dog and Ozzy smelling his armpits

"Suicide Solution,"

Isn't that an anti-drinking song Ozzy wrote about himself and has nothing to do with suicide?

When is this on? I gotta catch this show. The only time I watch MTV is when WWF is on.
