Hi Guys! I know that God has a sense of humor. I always thought God would have Chelsea marry a military man, just to get back at the TOONS. But the son of a Republican family will do just fine, LOL.
Hillary and Bill can not complain. Hillary was raised in a very Reoublican family, remember?
Well, it looks like spring has sprug out here. There doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do all my planting.
We have a peeping tom! It's a Barn Swallow. He wants to nest inside our home. He comes everyday very early and hangs on our screen by his feet, causing the screens to go "Bong" "BING" at 6 AM waking everyone up. He also likes to stand on the door knob outside on the deck, and look inside. He's very cute and very funny. He doesn't mind if you come right up to the window and look at him either. What a hoot!
Has it occurred to you he might be looking at himself in the glass? I have a Towhee which comes back year after year to stare into the glass door to my back deck. He actually bangs into it. I've always assumed he was "attracted" to himself in the glass. This morning I got proof. I walked out the door on the other side of the house and there he was, perched on the door of my car, admiring himself in the side mirror! LOL! This poor guy will never "get some" at this rate!
Hey! The Chimney Swifts returned to my home yesterday. Click here to hear what we hear every morning and evening. The first Spring we were in this house I thought a bird had become trapped in the chimney. They make alot of noise for such small birds and it drives the cats crazy! hehe!
We had the neatest thing happen a few weeks ago. I was zipping around that morning when I noticed one of the cats who had been doing the "let me in, let me out" dance was looking to come in again. She can wait I thought to myself, then I notice that she's all puffed up and looking nervous. Right about then this huge bird soared right over the pool. Thought to myself, that's an awfully big hawk (we have a couple of pairs that hang around) then it swooped by again and perched on a limb in a tree in the yard. I couldn't believe my eyes, it was an adult bald eagle! And he was checking out my cat! She looked most grateful to get inside again. I've never seen one in person that close before, magnificent he was!
