The loss of personal opinion

Red mercury is a sting operation as one poster opined. It seems that personal opinions are being voiced with greater frequency on a greater range of topics and with greater variety all the time, right here on FR. Dass meine Ich.

I think the real problem is that over 200 threads a day are created on FR; 90 % are redundant and the same posters follow each around thread-to-thread saying the same thing.

When some say something substantial and/or original ( even if I disagree ) I often see those posts turned into vaporware. This makes it difficult to learn anything new.
