The live turkey giveaway episope of WKRP in Cincinatti was far and away the single funniest episode of a sitcom ever. I still laugh myself senseless when I see it.

As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

My funniest top 5:

1. Beverly Hillbillies

2. Green Acres

3. WKRP in Cincinnati

4. Hogan's Heroes

5. Married With Children

Yep, that was very funny.

Some of the episodes of TAXI were hilarious.

That is probably one of the funniest moments on television.

WKRP was a consistently hilarious show. Ironically, the one episode I remember best one that one that was deliberately not funny. It was the episode dealing with the real-life 1979 trampling death of 11 people at a Who concert at Cincinatti's Riverfront stadium. The episode ends with Dr. Fever solemnly announcing the tragedy over the air and then silence. It was a very moving and powerful piece of television.

As great as it was, there was a episode of Taxi that matched it. This is the espisode where Latka gets married to Carol Kane. The little speech she gives about marriage may be the one funniest scene I ever saw or heard anywhere.
