You and I must have been the only ones to watch that show. It didn't last long. James Thurber was my favorite cartoonist/humorist during high school.
Another sit-com that didn't last long that I really liked was Brooklyn Bridge. It reminded me so much of my childhood in Chicago in the '50s and '60s.

Yes, that was a very funny show that made me laugh back in the mid-'60s. I don't know that I would find it as funny now.
I also loved:
a) Carol Burnett Show and all those great "skits"
b) that Sesame St. Variety Show (not sure what the name was, it was the one that came on in the early evening)
c) I know I'll get flamed for this one (grin) but I liked "Hee Haw" too :-)
d) I also LOVED the Laugh-In show
e) TV game shows like The Match Game were great fun too
