What Are The Funniest TV Programs Of All Time?

What are some of your favorite comedy shows of all time?

For myself, I like Howard Stern's old Channel 9 show, Fawlty Towers, Police Squad, The Young Ones, et al. I'm sure other people have different ideals as to what they consider humorous....

The other one is the episode where the electronics wizard builds a stun gun for phil and phil uses it on himself to see if it works.

I think you are mixing up two different shows. I can't remember the name of either right now,but the one with Phil Hartman brought in Jon Lovitz to try to save the show after Hartman was murdered, but that didn't work. The guy that hosts "Fear Factor" was on the show, and so was Dave Foley and Andy Dick. The other show (stun gun) stars David Spade and is still on the air.

Tim Conway's antics would render his castmates into blubbering crying hysterics and the audience would follow suit.

Remember his ad-libbed skit about the baby Siamese elephants, who were joined at the trunk? He had the rest of them wiping tears from their eyes before it was over. I don't think I ever laughed any harder. Korman and Conway were probably the most under-appreciated comics ever.

Oh, yeah, that was the one about the elephants with Tim Conway. Don't know why I thought they were kissing, when they were Siamese joined at the trunk. Blasted Alzheimer's! Thanks, Pete.

That's strange. Letterman isn't the least bit funny to me.

As for Steve Allen, I understand that somebody in the warehouse ignorantly destroyed most of the archived film from The Tonight Show. All that is lost forever. Shame.

The Beverly Hillbillies episode when Jethro puts on a magic show. He says, "I would like a glass of milk." Then he makes a funnel out of newspaper and pours the milk in. Before drinking it he says, "I have changed my mind." He then smashes his hands together. After the milk expodes all over him he just stands there with that dumb look on his face.

I'm told Red Skelton was the funniest of them all...Too bad it was just before my time, but I am getting his videotapes for my little girls to enjoy...Sure beats the leftist "comedy" of immorality and homosexuality of this generation!

I love Get Smart! I hadn't seen that show in years and I got to see it in a hotel a few weeks ago. I didn't get to see the "Cone of Silence", though. Candi

Nice screen name! My bedroom was nicknamed "the Hellmouth" because it is so cluttered all the time. I can even tell my dog to go to the Hellmouth and she'll run in there. :) Anyway, here's my list of stuff:

Frasier
The Simpsons
South Park (a rather conservative show, surprisingly!)
Married with Children
I Love Lucy
Seinfeld

"Mystery Science Theater 3000" and "Almost Live!" were great, but rarely or never on anymore.
