May/Decmember relationships between older men and younger women get an wink and a nod ... what is so wrong about vice versa?

May and December can be fine in any combination but a 50 year age span is a bit much! Ya got your Oedipus, but is there a Greek tragedy with a grandma spin to it?

There is virtually nothing wrong with it. It was the detail overload in the story that got to me, and not in a good way I might add. LOL

There is nothing wrong with vice versa. I myself have been in such relationships, partially because everyone thinks I am 100 years old. ;)

I agree with the others who have said this story suffers from "detail overload", and it hardly is a romance, rather more it is a physical "infatuation". The relationship described in this is not going to produce any great poetry nor could be worthy of a ballad of any type. It's more like something that would appear on Jerry Springer.
