I hate to bother you, and it seems to me others must have noticed their older bookmarked articles being deleted- still...
There was that time we lost a bunch of articles before.

I'm scared John! Hold me!

I'm only sure the first article was deleted during the change, one or more of the others might have been deleted earlier.
Though they were there not too long ago.

If you go to this old white water topic thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/t990421208.htm
EVERY ONE of the posts is unavailable.
Nearly all say "This article has been deleted.", some say "No such file (give_legacy_article)". .
That don't seem right.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye on that thread.
"On the live server, the beta software would serve up these articles. "
Hmmm... then why am I getting that message- I'm on the old FR?

I figured those "legacy" messages meant they were unavailable because he was working on it.
It's all these "deleted" messages that worry me.
I should add that this doen't seem to be a problem with pre-99 threads.

A bump before it gets late.

I'm really surprised no one else has noticed this problem.
Maybe I'm the only one who searches in those old posts.

John's working on the archives and trying to integrate the old software with the new stuff. Things are being moved around and (re)organized. Sometimes they're up, sometimes they're down. The archives from the spring of 99 are particularly screwed up. Give it time.
