Elizabeth sure was a beauty! I have her movie "National Velvet." She seemed like such a normal little girl.
I can't believe Tatum is dating Alec Baldwin. Geez, they are ALL Liberals aren't they? I think Ryan looks like he is trying to flash his teeth too hard in that photo. Not natural looking at all.

I think the Oscar's themselves start at 6 pm PST. But the fun show is the one before that with Joan and Melissa River's commenting on the fashion. It is usually on the E network an hour or so before the show. I will post the time when I know for sure. You will need a pitcher of mint juleps at least to make it through the pre-shows and the show itself.

For you ice skating fans, tonight is the showdown between Michele and Irina for the Ladies World Figure Skating title.

In HLL's continued absence (correct me if I'm wrong on this), I will plan to start the Guild live thread shortly before the Joan Rivers show on E!, which is at 6 p.m. EST. At 7 p.m. EST will be the Baba Wawa special on ABC with Sarah Jessica Parker, Halle Barry and Tom Cruise, followed by the awards ceremony at 8 p.m. EST, Whoopie Goldberg hosting. According to TV Guide, from 8-8:30 p.m. will be "arrival coverage"; the ceremony won't start till 8:30 p.m.

I trust that is acceptable to one and all. Please advise, and thank you for your support.

Your times are correct and your plan is a good one, to start the live thread.

However, HLL does plan on being here. She is supposed to arrive to her home this a.m. and then she was to crash for a few hours and get up and do the thread.

I still think you should start the thread. She may have met a Count over there and extended her stay or she could get home late or she could oversleep. I am sure she will chime right in on the thread if and when she returns/gets up.

Endeavor-I gave you the wrong times yesterday. Mountaineer's times are correct. I would not want you to blame me if you missed even a second of the coverage. lol...

I had forgotten all about the Barbie Wa-Wa special. I just love the promos for this special-WaWa asks little Tommy Cruise if he is going to get married and Tommy bursts into a fit of laughter. Wonder what Ms. Cruz thought of that?

Did anyone see 60 minutes last Sunday? Well they interviewed the real Dr. Nash of A Beautiful Mind and asked him why he didn't pick Tom Cruise to play him and he said "he is too short". I do hope Mr. Cruise was watching, BHH.
