Excellent post. Especially the reference to the Roswell women. Sherman sent General Garrard there to capture the town. Once there he captured the mills (the men were off fighting the war) and burned them to the ground.

Different accounts have 400-700 women, many of whom were raped, and their children being forced to march to Marietta. The women and children were loaded onto wagons and trains - then repatriated to the North to serve as little more than slaves. Only a few ever saw their families again.

I don't think you are gonna see any of the tyrant's apologists deny Roswell. Also never explained; why Sherman didn't "liberate" Andersonville when he was in the neighborhood!
