I read in a new age book that if I don't celebrate my birthday I stay the same age
if I celebrate it a day early I get a year younger
a week early, 7 years younger
the result is I lost track of how old I am now
each year I celebrate it different day
gettin' back over that hump of 40 and hittin' the 30s again hasn't been that easy
when lifeguard was takin' survey at pool she said how old are you
I said 33
she looked at me as if it was not true
so I must still look 40
maybe you should have stayed 39 on your past birthday
