My brother got hit by a car on Aprils Fools Day...no kidding....he was in grade school and got hit on his way to school...I was in high school, and when I got off the bus to walk the block home, one of the neighborhood kids said to me, Sorry about your brother getting hit by a car...my response was...ha, ha, Aprils Fools...when I got to my house, my cousin who lived downstairs said, Gosh, Johnny got his by a car...again I said, Ha, ha, Aprils Fools, and thought there was a block conspiracy against me...
When I got home, my mom was there, and I told her what the kids were saying...she turned around and she was crying...it was true..my brother got hit by a car and was in the hospital...
As soon as I got home, we all went back up to the hospital...my brother was not seriously hurt, but he did need an operation...when he got hit by the car, he flew up in the air, and landed on his butt...nothing got hurt but his butt...he split a muscle in his rear end, and had to have surgery to fix it...he always said it was quite embarrassing to have to tell people, his injury was a split butt...
