Yesterday my daughter and I were discussing the enormous jump in the average height of people since the 1970's. She said that the increase was in the region of five to six inches in a single generation.

It had taken five or six hundred years to increase the average high by that much but yet in a generation it had been accomplished. She said it was due to the growth hormones given to animals and chicken. Some of the children of this generation were showing signs of early cancers.

Just by observation she had noticed that the bodies of the 18 to 20 women, now passed the growing age, were like of those of ten year olds – very tall but no womanly shape – tall, skinny no hips and small breasts. And the guys were the same, tall, skinny no chests, no asses and no hair on their chests. She said that, that generation was mutants.

The increase in height had not taken place in Japan, India or China. What do people on the thread think of her observations?

hi ac
I would imagine mind has something to do with it
faces in photos a century ago look so dour and grim
I think joy is leapin' up
that may be reason for tallness
the figures may be less curvy for women because curves are out
Love, Palo
