Thanks so much for the Birthday wish! I just returned from the Bill of Rights rally at the capitol building in Austin. It was very enjoyable. We then had dinner with Rick Stanley of Denver, Michael Badanarik, and a group of real American patriots. Now we're meeting them down on 6th St. this evening for a few drinks and a little partying. Talk to ya later, David.

Well, I did enough work for today, so thought I would come online for a while, and enjoy myself...

You are correct, both the mama and daddy eagle will take turns sitting on the nest....

When the eaglecam was stuck a while back, I emailed the website address telling them about this...yesterday I got an email from them, telling me that they did not know why the camera was stuck, but it did begin to function again...they also told me to take note, that around mid march is when the mom eagle will lay her eggs, and that it takes about 38 days to hatch...and that the mom and dad eagle will be spending more and more time at the nest until the baby or babies hatch....

I emailed back, that someone here already seen one egg, and we were anxiously awaiting the hatching, and we will all be eagle godparents...

we had a great time at the rally. the speakers were excellent. the only thing is the expected crowd of 1000+ was much smaller. there were probably about 250 people there. i wore a t-shirt with the words "GOT GUNS" on the front. it was a big hit!! ;)

afterwards, about 20 of us had dinner at 'texas land and cattle'. we really liked rick stanley and his wife, pam. neat people! check out his website www.stanley2002.org. he is running for state senator. i sure hope he wins. our great republic could certainly use a patriot like him. he is very much like rep. ron paul politically.

both rick and our friend, mike badnarik, are going to be guests on a local radio station tonight from 8-9 and then we're going to meet them on 6th street for drinks and more great conversation afterwards. :)

I am off to a flower show in the AM...its the Annual Orchid Show at the Royal Botannical Gardens, and I'm supposed to get a couple as a belated birthday present.Should be fun, except, its vicious with all the Grannie's on wheelchairs ;-)
