Yep, the bearded one shaved. Someone said, that Al Bore is GOING to make another run against Bush for sure. Tippsy had to step aside to let her hubby be president. I think the Gore's are nut! They need mental health.

Tipper's skeletons include the vocal and financial support she and Al have shown towards militant homosexual causes - I can't imagine that's real popular in most of Tennessee - and her own abuse of prescription drugs, not to mention her drinking. It all would come out if she ran, and irritated Tennessee Democrats probably would have been the source of the stories. Tipper's connection to TN is only slightly greater than Hillary's to NY, after all.

This is just my politcal compass but I think Queen Hillary (as VP) and John Edwards might be drafted to 'take one for the team' this time if Bush's high poll ratings continue.

Gore might wait for a better shot in 2008 and Hillary would compare herself to Jack Kennedy (barf alert) by running in a losing cause as VP.

I don't think so. I think the rank and file will vote for Gore ...assuming he runs anything CLOSE to a decent campaign...which is assuming a lot. The Dim party will let the rank and file have it, and let Gore run as a sacrificial lamb in '04 (with bush's high ratings I don't think they believe they have a chance). Then they'll be rid of him and have a clear field for '08...when they'll nominate Hitlery and start the vicious cycle all over again.

I didn't mention how it pains me to think of another Gore campaign, another Gore convention, more of Donna Brazille's hateful rhetoric. I would've sworn the Dims couldn't make me any sicker than they did before....but I think I may yet be proved wrong.

My son won't turn 16 for two more years, not really looking forward to the driving thing.

Same with my daughter, pubmom! I've had two sons go thru the process, and it was nerve wracking!! Luckily we have a great driving school up here where she'll take classes as did her big brothers. The thing the boys loved best about the place was their "Skid School". The kids are taken out to the driving lot and are made to cause the car to skid so they can be taught how to control the car. I thought it was a great idea; I didn't learn how to do that until my first 'ice' experience when we lived in Indiana one year! And they even get a t-shirt that says "I Survived Skid School!"

Thanks Betty for holding up the Guild while HLL is off to Italy! It is so nice to get together with the ladies (and some of the guys) everyday!

I have no clue as to why I'm getting this blessing, but he has no desire to drive. Same thing happened with our daughter. She didn't get hers until the middle of her 17th year. Go figure!

Lucky for me I already did my time teaching our daughter to drive. Told my husband, the boy is all yours!
