No! Not Italian! BBQ a cabrito! You can get them at White Egret Farm, I think on the way to Bastrop. Organically raised kid, plus the milk and cheese to go with.

They used to have a deep freeze and a jug out by the high way, you could just drive up, take out what you want and leave the required money in the jug.

Is cabrito (goat) meat good? I can get it here, because there are a large number of Jamaicans and other Carribean groceries in my area, and they all advertise goat meat. Beats cutting up bunny rabbits anyhow!

She'd probably like that, but she prefers not to have to cook on her birthday. ;-)

By the we, I had the Tortellini ala Cabonara, and she had Chicken Alfredo. Both very good, and unfortunately neither of us had room left for dessert!
