It's a dreary day here, but ok since we had two great evenings of cooking out. The two blondes are taking naps, the two brunettes are on the computers.

I should be weed-whacking. Been putting it off under the excuse of waiting for the grass to dry out. Still have about a 1/4 of the pasture fenceline to do.

Last summer I had to put a hot wire pretty close to the ground to zap a neighbor dog that liked to come in and chase the ponies. It worked, and I haven't seen him try in a long time. It takes a lot more maintenance to keep the grass down around it, do you think the dog would notice if I just disconnected that wire?
