Oh, I don't know about that. I've come 180 degrees on Faramir. He is a good man who would have made a good steward. Gandalf believed it. So did Aragorn. I consider Aragorn a good and shrewd judge of character.

Faramir was no Aragorn, but of the three, I think Faramir (and remember he was still young) had good things in side of him. Those good things would have only improved with age.
