Jackson Elves are really quite close to Tolkien Elves, except a little too blond and their ears are more pointed than Tolkien's Elves.
...and they don't laugh as much if at all, and they're snooty.

Hold on there, OT. That wasn't my citation. :/ I don't think Jackson's elves (from what I've heard about the movie) are all that much like Tolkien Elves...at least not Elrond and Galadriel.
