I will tell you a funny Annie story. Saw the National Touring Company, so my Annie was excellent. Anyway, I worked for the Reagan campaign in 1980... and going into the election, the pundits were predicting that the election would be close. They were even saying that Carter might win.

Anyway, the night before the election, I went to see Annie. In Annie, Daddy Warbucks has invited Roosevelt to his house for dinner. And Warbucks says... "Democrats, democrats, what does one feed a democrat?"

The musical came to a stop while the audience hooted and hollared and clapped in appreciation. That was the first time I could relax... I thought, perhaps, Reagan would win.

Oh...you mean the "Annie" Annie. I thought you were talking about "Annie Get Your Gun." Silly me!

My strongest memory, though, is when the dog jumped into the orchestra pit..............
