So what happened to you anyway? - was this a foot broken? - I don't remember if I ever knew why you were in a cast.

I had surgery back in January and the darned thing refused to heal. So after a month my doctor put me in a walking cast; and I just today got rid of it.

I've been driving left-footed, pedaling the piano left-footed (which was harder to get used to than the driving:), and avoiding steps whenever possible. It was very heavy & uncomfortable but it's GONE, GONE, GONE.:^)
