I think the worst part about Christmas is the gift-giving, or at least what gift-giving has become, and the brutish acquisition of the gifts.

Especially if they're just going to exchange them on the 26th

I don't think anyone in my family has ever exchanged a gift. It is verboten. We keep the gift that was given, even if it is wrong. I have clothes that don't fit to prove it!
